With a BFA in drawing and photography from the University of Michigan, an MFA in poetry from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and experience as a lead literacy teacher in Chicago Public Schools, Deborah now combines her many talents to create poetry and art through her stories, characters, images, and drawings.
